Refund Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026. Two rules, plainly stated.

Annual plans: 30-day refund window

On annual plans (Estimator $490/year, Pro $1,290/year), you have 30 days from purchase to ask for a full refund. If the service does not earn its keep, email hello@permitbudget.com within those 30 days and we refund the full amount. No forms, no hassle.

After 30 days, annual plans are not refundable, but you keep full access through the end of the paid year.

Monthly plans: cancel anytime

On monthly plans (Estimator $49/month, Pro $129/month), you can cancel anytime. Cancellation stops future charges. There is no refund for time already billed, but you keep access through the end of the paid month.

How to request a refund or cancel

Email hello@permitbudget.com from the email address on your account. Tell us which plan you are on and whether you want a refund (annual, within 30 days) or a cancellation. We confirm every request in writing.

Refund timing

Refunds go back to your original payment method. They usually arrive within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.

Disputes

Before filing a chargeback, email us. Chargebacks take weeks and freeze your account; an email gets you the same result faster.
